Hi, I'm John Philip Lee and this is my brief bio.
I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 20, 1991 to my parents, Steven Lee and Martha Lee. I lived in Indiana until my senior year of high school when my family moved to Hershey, Pennsylvania to be closer to my dad who works in Washington, D.C. Currently I split my time between "living" in State College where I go to school at Penn State and Hershey, where the rest of my immediate family lives.
I love to be outside and on a sunny day, you're most likely find me playing some sport with my friends. I swam in high school as a distance freestyler and was a member of the Hershey High School 2010 Swimming and Diving State Champions. I still swim occasionally to keep in shape and because I have a passion for sport. I also love to play football, basketball, and soccer, though I'm only reasonably skilled in the football. I run and bike a lot during the summer to not only keep in shape but to also enjoy the wonderful outdoors.
I have family that lives all across the United States and even abroad. My dad is from San Fransisco, California and the son of Chinese immigrants. He joined the United States Marine Corps after high school to pay for college and law school to help him get ahead in life. Though he often traveled across the country when I was younger due to the military, he was and still is a very important figure in my life and I hope to one day achieve the level of success he has over his lifetime. My mom is from Columbus, Ohio and daughter to a WWII veteran and a former GE and Cummins engineer. She is a licensed nurse who has a soft spot for babies and young children that has rubbed off on my siblings and me. I really hope to one day be as a good parent as my mom is for me.
I also have two younger brothers, William and Peter, and a little sister, Mary Margaret. William, also known as Will, is two years younger than me but we have a really close bond. He was my first real playmate and as long as I can remember we've been very good friends. Peter and Mary Margaret, who goes by Maggie, are my youngest siblings and twins. They are five years younger than me but I still spend a lot of time with them playing different sports or going to different places to eat.
